More Disney Pics!

My parents bought all of the pictures that the Disney photographers took. Every time you get your picture taken at Disney you give the photographer your photo-pass card and it stores all of the pictures. Here are some more pictures of our AMAZING trip!

These next few pics are hilarious! We were all trying to get Hannah to smile and say "One" for one picture and on the other side, another photographer was taking OUR picture looking all silly!

We had the BEST time! We are already wanting and planning to go back at the end of the year ha! I know it might seem a bit much to go 2 times in one year but that shows how much we LOVE Disney!

Did Y'all know it's St. Patricks Day??

So I just found out yesterday that St.Patricks day is TODAY! I was toatlly caught off gaurd. I usually never give St. Patricks day any thought but if I would have known earlier I would have planned a special outfit for Hannah or made green cookies or something. Oh well... We had such a great time with my mom (Moma) today! Here is Hannah's GREEN (and pink) St. Patty's Day outfit...

My mom came over and we went to Hobby Lobby, CiCi's Pizza and then the park. Han and I have been going to CiCi's lately. There seems to be a lot for her to eat between all of the pizza and the big salad bar they have. Here she is with Moma...



We decided to go to the park because its Hannah's favorite place. The park was crowded but the weather was PERFECT! Hannah's favorite thing is the swing but she also loves to just walk/run around and check everything out. She spent most of the time running around in the grass.


She was WORN OUT when we got home! We had a great time!

On another St. Patty's note... Y'all hurry up and get your Shamrock Shakes at McDonalds! They are soooo good and I think they arent going to be selling them after today.



I also wanted to mention that it has been one month since my blogger friend Kellie lost her sweet baby Maddie. I think about Kellie and Maddie every single day. I hope yall take a look over at her blog and pray for her and her family ;)

I'm LOVING it!!!!

This week I'm LOVING "The Bachelor"! I am so glad Brad chose Emily (or as he calls her...Em)Seriously...Does anyone not LOVE Em??

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the season finale! I was kinda getting nervous when Brad and Em had their last date and they got in a little fight. But the "good ol' boy" pulled through and chose the right gal.
I was supposed to go over to my friends house to watch the finale but I wasn't feeling up to it so I stayed home and watched it with the hubs. He was sooooo sweet and brought me my favorite dinner and Gigi's cupcakes...

And another thing I'm LOVING today is that Hannah got to go to "Inflatable Wonderland" for the fist time. She absolutely LOVED it! As soon as we got there I was pretty overwhelmed with all of the people there (because of Spring Break). All of the kids seemed so big and I was ready to leave as soon as I got there, but I decided to let Hannah play around a little while and scope things out. She started playing in the toddler section first...

Parents aren't allowed to go in any of the inflatables with the kids but a sweet little teenage girl who worked there took her inside one. Hannah LOVED it! She was hooked!

Dinner- Family Style!!!

Every year my family goes out to Maggiano's to celebrate my dad's bonus. Last year we had just had Hannah and I was so nervous to take her out in public for the first time but she ended up sleeping the entire time.This year I had actual reason to be worried ha! Hannah was definitely a chore ALL day yesterday and it wasn't looking good for dinner. As soon as we all got together at the restaurant and she saw my dad (Poppy is her FAVORITE) she was PERFECT! She didn't cry or scream out once. Here we are before we left...

Maggiano's is one of my all time favorite restaurants! If you go there, you gotta do "Family Style" you get to choose 2 appetizers,2 salads, 2 pastas, 2 meats and 2 desserts! And its ENDLESS and you get to take all of the leftovers home. Because of the fact that you get to take the leftovers, I am big on strategizing on how we can keep ordering food in hopes to take it home later ha! (kinda white trash I know) but I just LOVE it ha! Here is some of the food we ate. I forgot to take all of the food pics because every time they brought us new food I was so excited I would forget to take a picture ;)

What I'm LOVING!!!


 Every day I LOVE to watch Hannah learn and grow and I LOVE seeing her brain work. One of the things that we have been doing since she was 3 months old is....

When I was pregnant with Han I had seen the infomercial and thought it looked like a really interesting learning tool. I decided to order the complete package which included Books,DVDs,and flash cards.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from it but I was hoping for the best. We started doing the DVDs and flashcards at 3 months and she LOVED it. She started responding to it around 10 months. Now, at 13 months,she reads several words including Ball,Point,Hat,Teeth,Mouth,Hi,Dog,Cat,Duck,Arms up,No,Yes and Wave. I was Amazed at how quickly she has caught on to it and I'm excited for her to learn more. Here is a video of her doing the flashcards. It cut short because I videoed it with my phone and my phone started ringing at the same time I was videoing ha!. Here she is reading a few words...

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie EVER!

Today I had so much fun making Chocolate Chip Cookies with my little assistant! Now these aren't just any Chocolate chip cookies....These are the BEST EVER!
They are Oh So Goooood! I have two secrets to making the Best Chocolate Chip Cookie EVER. The first one is that you gotta have a cute assistant helping you. Here is mine...

My second secret is BUTTER CRISCO!


I find that when you use BUTTER Crisco you get the perfect texture. When cookies are made with all butter they can sometimes turn out flat and too crispy. When cookies are made with all shortening the cookies can be very cake-like. So the trick is the combo of both butter and shortening (Butter Crisco). Here is my recipe for the best Chocolate Chip Cookie EVER!
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter Crisco
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.)  MILK CHOCOLATE Morsels
  •  3 tsp water
  1. Cream the Crisco, sugars and water together
  2. add the eggs
  3. add vanilla
  4. add dry ingredients
  5. add MILK chocolate chips
  6. bake at 350 degrees and take them out right before they look golden (they will finish baking in the pan and I always like a soft cookie)
Well now that the cats out of the bag and my secret is revealed...I'm going to bed now ha! Oh and BTW... I'm almost at 100 followers!!!!!! "You like me..you really like me"! Love yall ;)

Show Us your Life-My Prince Charming!

Show Us Your Life is all about Family today and I have talked about my Mom in This Post! and Ive told y'all about my dad in This Post! Today, its all about my sweet husband.

I feel like I don't share enough about my husband on my blog. He is the first and only LOVE of my life and I don't know where I would be without him.

We were married June 3,2006. We were both 21 years old! I look back and realize what babies we were but at the time I thought we were so "grown up". All of my life I grew up dreaming of marrying my prince Charming. The only thing in life I ever aspired to be was a wife and mother. I met Brian when I was 18 years old. We met at a Bowling Alley (of all places). He was so different from any other guy I had met before. I knew there was something so special about him. He was always so thoughtful and sweet and ALWAYS did the right thing (even when he could have taken the easy road).I knew from very early on that I wanted to marry him. I couldn't imagine living my life without him. HE was the one that I had dreamed of all of those years.Here is one of our engagement pictures (we were BABIES)

He is so incredibly patient with me. I can be a VERY difficult person (mood swings,rage,fear, anger...the list goes on ha!) but he is always so forgiving and understanding. I love his ambition and responsibility. I Love his unshakable confidence and his love for the Lord. I love that I can trust him to lead our family in the direction that God has for our lives. He IS my Prince Charming!


In one of my absolute Favorite movies ("When Harry met Sally")... Harry tells Sally this "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."  He is "the rest of my life"!
