Are we there yet???

This weekend was a Whirlwind to say the least! We all (including mom, dad, sis and sis boyfriend) went to go see my Mimi (grandma) and then we went my childhood friend's wedding in Dallas. We left yesterday morning. The plan was to leave and get to Mimi's in time to visit with her before the wedding that night. Hannah did great in the car! Although I had to practically put on a circus performance for her most of the time to get her from not "Blowing her top" ha! And I cant even count how many times I had to sing "Old MacDonald had a farm" (her FAV) But she did really well considering she was stuck in a car seat for 5 hours.
We got to Mimi's and visited with her a bit and then got ready for the wedding. We were all super excited to go to this wedding to see Lauren and Ben get married! The ceremony was so incredibly special and Christ-centered and then the reception was TO DIE FOR!!
I tried to get a few good pics of Bri and I but without complete success. He can NEVER keep his eyes all the way open when there is a flash involved so her is what we got...
Attempt 1....Almost but still a little "Squinty"

Attempt 2.... Even worse than #1 ha!

Here I am with the GORGEOUS bride Lauren

The cake.... It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen hands down!

After the wedding was over we drove back to my aunts house and went to sleep. We had planned on going to Mimi's church that morning but decided we had better leave because it was going to sleet and snow. So we left this morning. We were SO tired and SO sick of being in the car but we knew we had to get home before the weather got bad. Hannah did AMAZING on the way home. We told her she gets a A+! As soon as we got home she was so excited to finally be out of the car and at home. She ran straight to her room to go see her "friends"(stuffed animals). It was the cutest thing! We took them all out for her and she just collapsed on top of them poor baby.

All in all it was a good trip but very EXHAUSTING!

  8. I always love your daughters clothes and her big bows. Where do you get that stuff? I am a mom of 3 boys expecting a girl in March and am clueless where to get the right clothes.

  9. Hannah loos adorable! :)
About the blog space, I didn't know there was a certain amount..but there is. They store the pictures in a picasa album and once it's full you have to purchase more space. I think it starts out at like $5, though!

  11. Too funny about the picture attempts. It never fails....when Joel and I take pictures, one is us always looks weird. I am known for having my eyes closed or smiling too big. Joel always looks GOOD!

    I love your fur jacket.
